Nevada Code § 332.063

Contracts for which estimated annual amount required to perform is more than $50,000 but not more than $100,000: Solicitation of responses; permissive advertisement; award

1. Except as otherwise provided by
specific statute, if the estimated annual amount required to perform a contract
is more than $50,000 but not more than $100,000, the governing body or its
authorized representative:
(a) Shall solicit responses from two or more
persons capable of performing the contract, if such persons are available; and
(b) May advertise the contract in the manner
prescribed in NRS 332.045 .
2. The governing body or its authorized
representative shall award such a contract on the basis of price, taking into
account the minimum requirements of a responding offeror prescribed in the
solicitation pursuant to NRS 332.043 and
the method prescribed in that solicitation for awarding the contract.
