Advertisement of contract: Publication; contents

1. The advertisement authorized by
subsection 1 of NRS 332.063 or required
by subsection 1 of NRS 332.065 must be
published:
(a) In a newspaper qualified pursuant to chapter 238 of NRS that has a general circulation
within the county wherein the local government, or a major portion thereof, is
situated at least once and not less than 7 days before the opening of
responses.
(b) Every day for not less than 7 days before the
opening of responses on:
(1) The Internet website of the local
government, if the local government maintains an Internet website; or
(2) A secure website on the Internet or
its successor, if any, which is established and maintained for the purpose of
an on-line solicitation.
2. The advertisement must state:
(a) The nature, character or object of the
contract.
(b) If plans and specifications are part of the
contract, where the plans and specifications may be seen.
(c) The time and date on which responses will be
opened.
(d) That a written certification is a required
part of the contract pursuant to subsection 4 of NRS 332.065 , if applicable.
(e) Such other matters as may properly pertain to
the contract.
