Immunity

This
State, an agency or political subdivision of this State, a law enforcement
officer, prosecuting attorney, clerk of court and any other state or local
governmental official acting in an official capacity are immune from civil and
criminal liability for an act or omission arising out of the registration or
enforcement of a Canadian domestic-violence protection order or the detention
or arrest of an alleged violator of a Canadian domestic-violence protection
order if the act or omission was a good faith effort to comply with NRS 33.110 to 33.158 , inclusive, or the provisions of NRS 33.090 or 33.095 relating to the registration of a
Canadian domestic-violence protection order.
