1. In addition to the training provided by the State Treasurer pursuant to paragraph (m) of subsection 1 of NRS 226.110 , the authority shall, to the extent that money is provided by the State Treasurer pursuant to NRS 422A.492 for that purpose, ensure that instruction in financial literacy is provided to a tenant who deposits a portion of his or her income in an individual development account established pursuant to NRS 422A.493 . 2. The authority may contract for the services of an independent contractor to provide the instruction required by subsection 1.
