Nevada Code § 288.595

Capacity to sue or be sued; court actions and proceedings; jurisdiction; limitations on liability

1. Except as otherwise provided by
specific statute, a labor organization and the Executive Department may sue or
be sued as an entity pursuant to NRS 288.400 to 288.630 , inclusive.
2. If any action or proceeding is brought
by or against a labor organization pursuant to NRS 288.400 to 288.630 , inclusive, the district court in
and for the county in which the labor organization maintains its principal
office or the county in which the claim arose has jurisdiction over the claim.
3. A natural person and his or her assets
are not subject to liability for any judgment awarded pursuant to NRS 288.400 to 288.630 , inclusive, against the Executive
Department or a labor organization.
