Effective date of provisions of collective bargaining agreements; exception for provisions that require legislative measure to be given effect; duty of Governor to request drafting of legislative measure

If a provision of a collective bargaining
agreement:
1. Does not require an act of the
Legislature to be given effect, the provision becomes effective in accordance
with the terms of the agreement.
2. Requires an act of the Legislature to
be given effect:
(a) The Governor shall request the drafting of a
legislative measure pursuant to NRS
218D.175 to effectuate the provision; and
(b) The provision becomes effective, if at all,
on the date on which the act of the Legislature becomes effective.
