Nevada Code § 287.027

Coverage for colorectal cancer screening required to be provided by local governmental agency that provides health insurance through plan of self-insurance

The governing body
of any county, school district, municipal corporation, political subdivision,
public corporation or other local governmental agency of the State of Nevada
that provides health insurance through a plan of self-insurance shall provide
coverage for colorectal cancer screening in accordance with:
1. The guidelines concerning colorectal
cancer screening which are published by the American Cancer Society; or
2. Other guidelines or reports concerning
colorectal cancer screening which are published by nationally recognized
professional organizations and which include current or prevailing supporting
scientific data.
