Hearings: Subpoenas extend to all parts of State; service of subpoenas; attendance of witnesses

A
subpoena issued pursuant to NRS 284.391 extends to all parts of the State and must be served in accordance with the
provisions of N.R.C.P. 4 (c). No
witness may be required to attend at a place out of the county in which the
witness resides unless the distance is less than 100 miles from the place of
residence of the witness, except, upon affidavit of any party showing that the
testimony of that witness is material and necessary, the hearing officer may
endorse on the subpoena an order requiring the attendance of the witness in
response to the subpoena.
