Appeal; defendant suspended; office may be filled

1. An appeal from a judgment of removal
may be taken to the appellate court of competent jurisdiction pursuant to the
rules fixed by the Supreme Court pursuant to Section 4 of Article 6 of the Nevada
Constitution in the same manner as from a judgment in other criminal actions,
but until such judgment is reversed the defendant shall be suspended from
office.
2. Pending the appeal, the office may be
filled as in case of vacancy.
