Nevada Code § 282.150

Liability of sureties when penal sum exceeds $2,000: Several liability for portions not less than $500

When
the penal sum of any bond amounts to more than $2,000, the sureties may become
severally liable for portions not less than $500 of such penal sum, making in
the aggregate at least two sureties for the whole penal sum.
