1. The official oath, except in the cases specified in NRS 218A.220 , 223.030 and 224.030 , shall be endorsed on the commission or certificate of election of the officer and signed by the officer, and shall be certified by the officer before whom the oath or affirmation shall have been taken. 2. Every officer, whose oath of office is required to be endorsed on the officers commission or certificate of election, shall take and subscribe to the oath at the time of the reception of the commission or certificate. 3. The oath shall be taken, and, except in the cases prescribed in NRS 218A.220 , 223.030 and 224.030 , may be subscribed before any justice of the Supreme Court or clerk thereof, any judge of the Court of Appeals, any judge of the district court or clerk thereof, a county clerk, notary public, or justice of the peace, unless otherwise directed by law.
