Nevada Code § 269.654

Annexation by town whose population is less than 25,000 in county whose population is less than 700,000: Notice

If
a town board or board of county commissioners proposes to adopt an ordinance
that provides for the annexation of an area by an unincorporated town pursuant
to NRS 269.650 , the town board or board of
county commissioners shall, at the time the title and summary of the proposed
ordinance are published in a newspaper pursuant to NRS 269.155 :
1. Send a copy of the proposed ordinance
by certified mail, return receipt requested, to each owner of real property in
the area proposed to be annexed; and
2. Post a notice of the proposed
annexation on the Internet website, if any, established and maintained by the
town board or board of county commissioners.
