Nevada Code § 269.555

Formation of town by action of board; submission of question to voters

Except as otherwise
provided in NRS 269.563 , the board may,
by resolution adopted at a regular meeting, provide for submission of the
question of the formation of an unincorporated town to the registered voters
residing within the boundaries of the area proposed for the town at the next
succeeding primary or general election. As a part of the question there must be
included the statement that the affirmative vote carries with it the assent to
be taxed for the service indicated in the boards resolution.
