1. The initiative petition presented to
the board or the question placed on the ballot, as provided in NRS 269.540 , must contain a statement
substantially as follows:
The undersigned declare their
purpose to be the support of the concept of unincorporated town government,
that they desire hereby to make provision for the supplying of one or more of
the town services enumerated in NRS 269.575 and that they acknowledge the fact that the supplying of such service or
services will require a special tax levy, the establishment of a user fee
schedule or a combination of both.
2. The boundaries of such area sought to
be brought within an unincorporated town area must be clearly designated and
declared. The area encompassed must be contiguous.
3. The petition shall state whether the
town advisory board is to be composed of three members or five members.
