Town officer not to be interested in certain contracts and purchases; penalties

1. Except as otherwise provided in NRS 281.230 , 281A.430 and 332.800 , it is unlawful for any town
officer, directly or indirectly, to be interested in any contract made by the
town officer or to be a purchaser or interested in any purchase under a sale
made by the town officer in the discharge of his or her official duties.
2. Any person who violates this section is
guilty of a gross misdemeanor and shall forfeit his or her office.
