Acquisition of property for pedestrian mall by eminent domain

1. A governing body may acquire property
for a pedestrian mall by eminent domain pursuant to the provisions of chapter 37 of NRS.
2. For the purposes of chapters 37 and 244A of NRS, the acquisition, construction, improvement, operation, management and
maintenance of a pedestrian mall are hereby declared to be public purposes.
3. For the purposes of chapter 244A of NRS, a pedestrian mall shall be
deemed to be a recreational facility.
