As used in NRS 268.790 to 268.795 , inclusive, unless the context otherwise requires: 1. Area means a redevelopment area or an urban renewal area, as the case may be, within which the creation of a district is proposed. 2. Council means the city council. 3. District means an assessment district created to defray the cost of providing maintenance within the district. 4. Maintenance means the provision of those services required to clean, incidentally repair and keep in good condition, improvements made in the district pursuant to a redevelopment plan. The term does not include the replacement of capital improvements or major repairs made to those improvements.
