As used in NRS 268.780 to 268.785 , inclusive, unless the context otherwise requires: 1. Area means a redevelopment area or an urban renewal area, as the case may be, within which the creation of a district is proposed. 2. Council means the city council. 3. District means an assessment district created to defray the cost of additional police protection within the district.
