1. Within 5 days after the filing with the commission of a notice to annex, the executive officer of the commission shall transmit one copy of such notice to the county or regional planning commission, if any, having jurisdiction over the area proposed to be annexed. Within 30 days after receiving such copy, the planning commission shall review the proposed annexation in the light of its master plan and of any other information in its possession, and report its findings to the city annexation commission. 2. The commission may also request the advice and shall consider the master plan of any city planning commission whose territory is within 7 miles of the territory proposed to be annexed.
