1. The city council or other governing body of each incorporated city in this State, whether or not organized under general law or special charter, may, to protect the health and safety of the public, enact an ordinance which regulates the time, place and manner of the operation of an electric personal assistive mobility device in the city, including, without limitation, by prohibiting the use of an electric personal assistive mobility device in a specified area of the city. 2. As used in this section, electric personal assistive mobility device has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 482.029 .
