Nevada Code § 267.070

Election for adoption or rejection of charter: Publication of charter; form of ballot; alternative propositions

1. The governing body of the incorporated
city shall cause the proposed charter to be published once and posted for 30
days and provide for the submission of the proposed charter to the qualified
voters of the incorporated city at the next primary or general municipal
election or primary or general state election.
2. The form of ballot concerning the
question of the proposed charter at the election must be: For the proposed
charter, Against the proposed charter.
3. In submitting the proposed charter, or
amendments thereto, any alternative article or proposition may be presented to
the voters of the incorporated city and may be voted on separately without
prejudice to the others. In submitting the amendments, article or proposition,
the form of the ballot must be: For Article No. ..... of the charter,
Against Article No. ..... of the charter.
