Nevada Code § 266.475

Employment of counsel to assist city attorney

The city council may, in the exercise of its
sound discretion, employ counsel to aid the city attorney whenever, in its
judgment, the public interests require such employment, and the expense thereof
must be allowed and paid in the same manner as other claims against the city.
