Notice of special election: Publication; contents

1. If the resolution adopted pursuant to NRS 266.386 calls a special election, the
city clerk shall cause a notice of the election to be published in a newspaper
printed in the county and having a general circulation in the city at least
once a week for 2 consecutive weeks by two weekly insertions a week apart, the
first publication to be not more than 14 days nor less than 8 days next
preceding the election.
2. The notice of the special election must
contain:
(a) The time and places of holding the election.
(b) The hours during the day in which the polls
will be open, which must be the same as provided for general elections.
(c) A statement of the question in substantially
the same form as it will appear on the ballots.
