Categorization of cities by population

Municipal
corporations organized pursuant to the provisions of this chapter must be
divided into three population categories:
1. Those cities having 50,000 or more
inhabitants are cities of population category one.
2. Those cities having 5,000 or more but
less than 50,000 inhabitants are cities of population category two.
3. Those cities having less than 5,000
inhabitants are cities of population category three.
