Nevada Code § 253.0447

Payment for expenses incurred in performance of duties; exception

1. Except as otherwise provided in
subsection 2, a public administrator may file with the board of county
commissioners a request for payment for expenses incurred in the performance of
such duties. The amount to be paid as expenses must be determined by the board.
Payment must be made from the general fund of the county if the board approves
the request and determines that there is sufficient money in the fund to pay
the public administrator or other suitable person designated by the board to
perform those duties. This subsection does not require the board to authorize
payment of any expense that can be paid from the assets of a person or an
estate.
2. The provisions of this section do not
apply if the office of public administrator is abolished pursuant to NRS 253.125 .
