1. Each county assessor, before entering upon the duties of office, shall execute to the people of the State of Nevada, a bond in the penal sum of $10,000, with two or more sufficient sureties, to be approved by the board of county commissioners, and filed in the office of the county clerk, conditioned for the faithful performance of all the duties of office required by law, unless a blanket fidelity bond is furnished by the county. 2. Suit may be instituted on the county assessors bond in the manner prescribed by law for the benefit of any person who may be aggrieved by the wrongful act or conduct of the county assessor or the county assessors deputy.
