Table of fees to be posted; penalties

Any
sheriff receiving fees as provided by law shall publish and set up in some
conspicuous place in the sheriffs office a fee table for public inspection. A
sum not exceeding $20 for each day of his or her omission so to do shall be
forfeited, which sum with costs may be recovered by any person by an action
before any justice of the peace of the same county.
