1. Each board of county commissioners may, to protect the health and safety of the public, enact an ordinance which regulates the time, place and manner of the operation of: (a) An electric personal assistive mobility device; or (b) A vehicle operating pursuant to the provisions of paragraph (c) of subsection 2 of NRS 484B.117 , in the county, including, without limitation, by prohibiting the use of an electric personal assistive mobility device or a vehicle specified in paragraph (b) in a specified area of the county. 2. As used in this section, electric personal assistive mobility device has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 482.029 .
