1. A board of county commissioners may, by any lawful means, acquire, control, maintain, enlarge or abolish cemeteries. 2. A board of county commissioners may convey any real property of the county that is used as a cemetery to any nonprofit charitable or civic organization for the purpose of maintaining a cemetery thereon, but only after a public hearing. The conveyance may be made on such additional terms and conditions as the board deems proper.
