Nevada Code § 244.060

Board of county commissioners: Quorum; tie vote

1. Except as otherwise provided in NRS 241.0355 , a majority of the board
constitutes a quorum for the transaction of business.
2. When a majority only of the members is
present at a meeting of the board, in case of a tie vote on any question, the
vote must be postponed to a subsequent meeting.
