Nevada Code § 240.330

1. For any misconduct or neglect in any of
the matters in which any commissioned abstracter appointed under the authority
of NRS 240.240 to 240.330 , inclusive, is authorized to act,
the commissioned abstracter shall be liable on his or her official bond to the
person or persons injured thereby for all damages sustained.
2. For any willful violation or neglect
any commissioned abstracter shall be subject to criminal prosecution, and may
be punished by fine not exceeding $2,000 and removal from office.
