Imposition of tests to determine use of controlled substance as condition of parole

1. Upon the granting of parole to a
prisoner, the Board may, when the circumstances warrant, require as a condition
of parole that the parolee submit to periodic tests to determine whether the
parolee is using any controlled substance. Any such use, except the use of
cannabis in accordance with the provisions of chapter
678C of NRS or any failure or refusal to submit to a test is a ground for
revocation of parole.
2. Any expense incurred as a result of any
test is a charge against the Division.
