Salaries of certain Board members who are justices of Supreme Court

1. A member of the Board who has served as
a district judge, a judge of the Court of Appeals or a justice of the Supreme
Court, or any combination thereof, for at least 4 years, is entitled to
compensation as a member of the Board in the amount of 2 percent of his or her
annual salary as a justice of the Supreme Court for each year of service as a
district judge, a judge of the Court of Appeals or a justice of the Supreme Court,
or any combination thereof. The compensation received by a justice for service
on the Board must not exceed 22 percent of his or her annual salary as a
justice of the Supreme Court.
2. The salaries provided for in this
section must be paid out of money provided by direct legislative appropriation
from the State General Fund.
