A person who violates the provisions of NRS 205.990 or 205.992 is guilty of: 1. If the violation involves used utility wire with a weight of less than 100 pounds, a misdemeanor. 2. If the violation involves used utility wire with a weight of at least 100 pounds but less than 400 pounds, a gross misdemeanor. 3. If the violation involves used utility wire with a weight of 400 pounds or more, a category D felony and shall be punished as provided in NRS 193.130 .
