Duties of sheriff and district attorney; failure to act; penalty

The district attorney and
sheriff of each county in this state shall see that the provisions of NRS 201.380 are strictly enforced and
carried into effect, and upon neglect so to do, they, or either of them, shall
be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor in office and may be proceeded against by
accusation as provided in chapter 283 of NRS.
