Nevada Code § 199.520

Disclosure of information to subject of investigation

An officer or employee of a court or law
enforcement agency who, with the intent to obstruct a criminal investigation,
directly or indirectly:
1. Notifies any person who is the subject
of the investigation about the existence of the investigation; or
2. Discloses to any such person any
information obtained in the course of the investigation,
is guilty of
a category D felony and shall be punished as provided in NRS 193.130 .
