Nevada Code § 179.145

Magistrate to deliver property to owner when it comes into magistrates custody; proof of title and payment of expenses

If the property stolen or embezzled come into
the custody of the magistrate, it shall be delivered to the owner on satisfactory
proof of title, and on the owners paying the necessary expenses incurred in
its preservation, to be certified by the magistrate.
