Costs of investigations borne by State; manner of payment

The costs and expenses of the investigations
provided in NRS 176.415 to 176.475 , inclusive, must be borne by the
State and paid in the following manner: The costs and expenses of an
investigation must first be paid by county warrants drawn upon the order of the
district judge. The county clerk shall then present a claim to the State Board
of Examiners for the amount of such costs and expenses so ordered paid by the
district judge. Upon approval of the claim by the State Board of Examiners, the
State Controller shall draw a warrant for the payment thereof, and the State
Treasurer shall pay the same from the Reserve for Statutory Contingency
Account.
