Nevada Code § 159.337

Burden of proof

In
a proceeding held pursuant to NRS 159.331 to 159.338 , inclusive:
1. The guardian has the burden of proof if
he or she:
(a) Petitions the court to restrict the ability
of a relative or person of natural affection to communicate, visit or interact
with a protected person pursuant to subsection 1 of NRS 159.333 ;
(b) Petitions the court to modify or rescind an
order pursuant to subsection 5 of NRS
159.333 ; or
(c) Opposes a petition filed pursuant to NRS 159.335 .
2. A relative or person of natural
affection has the burden of proof if he or she petitions the court to modify or
rescind an order pursuant to subsection 5 of NRS
159.333 .
