1. If an account and a petition for settlement thereof is filed, the clerk shall set the petition for hearing and the petitioner shall give notice for the period and in the manner required by NRS 155.010 . 2. If the account is for a final settlement and a petition for the final distribution of the estate is filed with the account, the notice of settlement must so state, and on the settlement of the account, distribution of the estate to those entitled thereto may be made as soon as possible.
