1. If a tribunal of this state believes that an obligor may flee, it may: (a) As an initiating tribunal, request that the responding tribunal obtain the body of the obligor by appropriate process; or (b) As a responding tribunal, obtain the body of the obligor by appropriate process. 2. Thereafter, the tribunal of this state may, by appropriate process, release the obligor upon his or her own recognizance or upon the obligor giving a bond in an amount set to ensure the obligors appearance at the hearing.
