Unlawful acts; civil action or recovery prohibited for certain violations

1. It is unlawful for a person to act as a
certified or registered court interpreter or advertise or put out any sign or
card or other device which might indicate to the public that the person is
entitled to practice as a certified or registered court interpreter without a
certificate or registration as an interpreter issued by the Court Administrator
pursuant to NRS 1.510 and 1.520 .
2. No civil action may be instituted, nor
recovery therein be had, for a violation of the provisions of this section or NRS 1.510 or 1.520 or a violation of a rule adopted by
the Court Administrator pursuant to NRS
1.510 or 1.520 .
