90-1-104 . Functions of department of commerce -- recreational development. The department of commerce shall: (1) exercise state responsibility for that part of recreational planning and development that is directly related to private investment in recreational facilities; (2) assemble and correlate information that may influence the development of recreational enterprises and disseminate it to persons, firms, or corporations interested in constructing or maintaining recreational facilities open to the public; and (3) coordinate the promotion of Indian tourism activities in the state in cooperation with the seven tribal governments and the state director of Indian affairs.
