72-15-301 . Compensation of public administrator. (1) The public administrator must receive and shall collect for the administrator's own use as full compensation for services under this chapter, the amount provided for in 72-3-631 . (2) When the public administrator is appointed conservator of the estate of a protected person pursuant to chapter 5, part 4, of this title, the court may order that a reasonable sum be deducted from payments due to the protected person or from the protected person's estate to be paid to the public administrator as full compensation for the public administrator's services, excluding court costs and attorney fees. The total sum deducted as compensation for the public administrator may not be less than $100.
