69-3-839 . Approval of interconnection agreements. (1) Within 90 days of filing of an interconnection agreement adopted by negotiation of the parties to an agreement, the commission shall approve or reject the agreement, or the agreement is considered approved. (2) The commission may reject an agreement filed under this section only if the commission finds that: (a) the agreement or a portion of the agreement discriminates against a telecommunications carrier not a party to the agreement; or (b) the implementation of the agreement or portion is not consistent with the public interest, convenience, and necessity. (3) Upon rejecting an agreement filed under this section, the commission shall issue written findings detailing any deficiencies in the agreement.
