61-3-467 . Authorization to receive and transmit donations. As provided in 61-3-465 and notwithstanding any other provisions of Title 7, Title 17, or this title: (1) the county treasurer or an authorized agent must receive the annual scholarship donations provided for in 61-3-465 and transmit the donations to the state as provided in 15-1-504 or 61-3-116 ; and (2) the appropriate agency shall accept the annual scholarship donations and once each month distribute the accumulated proceeds to the beneficiary institutions specified by and according to the totals contained in the county treasurers' and authorized agents' reports.
