50-9-505 . Statewide education and outreach program. (1) The attorney general shall design, maintain, and administer a public education and outreach program to be conducted throughout the state pertaining to advance health care planning and end-of-life health care decisionmaking. (2) The program must be designed to: (a) increase the public's awareness of the importance of planning for end-of-life health care; (b) improve the public's understanding of the various health situations that an individual may face if the individual is unable to express the individual's health care wishes; and (c) explain the need for readily available legal documents that express an individual's health care wishes.
