50-6-310 . Notice and hearing required. (1) The department may not deny or cancel a license without: (a) delivery to the applicant or licensee of a written statement of the grounds for the denial or cancellation or the charge involved; (b) an opportunity to answer at a hearing before the department to show cause, if any, why the license should not be denied or canceled. (2) The licensee shall make written request to the department for a hearing within 10 days after notice of the grounds or charges has been received.
