Violation -- Misdemeanor

50-50-108 . Violation -- misdemeanor. A person who purposefully or knowingly violates provisions of this chapter or rules adopted by the department under this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor. Upon conviction, the person shall be: (1) fined not less than $50 or more than $100 for the first offense; (2) fined not less than $75 or more than $200 for the second offense; (3) fined not less than $200 and imprisoned in the county jail for not more than 90 days for the third offense and subsequent offenses.
