45-8-226 . Definitions. As used in 45-8-226 through 45-8-229 , unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, the following definitions apply: (1) "Notice" means a verbal or otherwise communicated warning regarding the behavior of another person and a request that the person stop the behavior. (2) "Service animal" has the same meaning as provided in 49-4-203 . (3) "Value" means the valuation of a service animal, including but not limited to the initial cost to purchase the animal and other expenses incurred, such as the cost of training, licensing, and hardware necessary for the use of the service animal.
